Curtis Thompson - CEO (Chief Everything Officer)
”Today is Awesome” is a common phrase Curtis says, and he truly means it - he has the ability to find the positive in most every situation. Being a wonderful father to our three boys and great husband are top priorities to him. He has a strong faith, and he puts a lot of emphasis on personal growth.
Any of the aerial photos/videos taken by Curt+Rach are captured by Curtis. He can also be found behind the camera making sure settings for lighting are just right. So thankful for his love of learning to keep us up to date with equipment + computer programs to best serve our customers.
Another huge role he plays in our business is bringing all of Rach’s ideas to life.
”I think an old truck with watermelons in the back would be a fun mini session”… he finds a truck to tow to the front yard. “The barn with evergreens would be nice for a Christmas mini session”…he hooks up a trailer, chainsaws down massive trees, and sets them up in the barn.

Traveling to new places and gathering with friends + family are what I love to do in my down time. I spend a lot of time with my main man, Curtis, and with our three boys on our small yet growing farm. As a former teacher, I enjoy getting to homeschool my children and teach them the basics of business and many life skills.
I am the guilty one for all the ideas, I do most of the communicating with clients, and I edit a majority of the work. I love building relationships with clients - who then turn into friends!
Did you catch that part about the growing farm? Yes! We went from a “Pet Free Farm” for 14 years to now we have - Chickens, Goats, Sheep, Pigs, and a Dog!
We both have a heart for small business owners and young entrepreneurs. We love using the gifts God gave us to help others succeed!

In January 2013, Curtis and Rachel Thompson launched their photography business as Thompson Squared Photography.
They were parents of 2, full time public school teachers, and decided to start their own business to earn extra income.
What started out as a side gig, then transformed into their full time career. In September 2019, they rebranded and changed their business name to CURT+RACH Photography & Design. Videography and Real Estate Photography were added to their services.
